Every touristic itinerary to Athens must include a visit of the Acropolis, the rocky hill that rise 80 metres in the middle of the Attica basin, above the city. Symbol of the city is the Parthenon, it was first a church and then a mosque. Sightseeing tour of the city by coach. The excursion includes also the visit of the National Archaeological Museum, one of the largest and most important museums of ancient Greek art. Stop at Plaka, the most ancient and picturesque part of Athens in neoclassical style. Return to the ship.

Olympian Shore Excursion

Olympian Shore Excursion

After leaving the port we will drive to Olympia to visit the site. Olympia, according to the legend, was built as a wish of the king of the gods to promote the cult among the Greek. We will admire the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, the gymnasium, the hyppodrome and the stadium, capable to welcome up to 40.000 spectators. The tour will continue to a restaurant in Katakolon where we will enjoy a typical folkloric show with a snack tasting.

Corfu was the last stage of the trip that Ulisses did when he was retruning to Ithaca and it offers to its visitors a wonderful scenery, full of nature. Visit to Achilleion’ s Palace, the former residence of Queen Elizabeth of Austria. Visit of the beautiful Palace, richly decorated and surrounded by gardens overlooking the sea. The Palace is dedicated to the Greek hero Achilles. Return into Corfu town for a visit and to have some free time to walk around.
